Question Fuel line- what's the difference between these two part numbers?

I need to replace my fuel pump and fuel filter on my 85.5 944. The nuts for the fuel filter were seized, particularly on the input side. As a result I have it out but I've destroyed the 17 mm nut that connects the fuel line to the filter. That line is flared for a compression fit, so it doesn't look like I can replace the 17mm nut without replacing the entire fuel line, unless someone has a suggestion on how I can do that??

If I have to replace the fuel line, can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two parts?

No. 951.356.041.07
No. 951.356.041.04

They look to be the same thing but one is about $28 and the other is about $40. If there's no way to replace the 17mm nut and I have to order the fuel line, I want to make sure I order the correct one.

Same part, but the .07 is an updated part from the .04, maybe which is why it is more expensive. Either one should work but I would use the updated .07 number

Thanks for the reply. I sent the question to Pelican Parts at the same time and just got a reply. According to them .07 is for 5 speed and .04 is for automatic transmissions.
