Default Wanted: AC Compressor & Condenser

As a new years resolution, I made a checklist of things fix in the 924S. I figured I'd get started by trying to get the A/C worked out.

So does anyone want to help a 944 brother out? All I need is a working compressor and condenser for the 87' 924S.

Any leads to working parts will be appreciated...

I've heard that the condensers are different on 944's are different from those in the 924S. Does anyone know if this is true? Not sure if the compressor is compatible as well, but I will find out today.

Until then, I'll call dibs on the condenser and compressor from your car. How much do you want for the them?

sTyleR,

I did a complete conversion and rebuilt compressor on my "87 924S last summer.
The compressor needed is the Nippondenso 10P15E.
It has the hose manifold needed to use your OEM AC hoses that connect to the compressor. It also needs to have a 6 groove pully.

Before you buy a used, rebuilt or new decide what you need.

Do you plan to convert to R134a?
Pelican has a BIG "O" ring set that has everything for the changeover.

Condenser is definitely different, the line connections are in different locations on the 944 due to the front air dam setups.

yeah i do believe the condensors are different- wasnt sure. Compressor should work. I converted my car to 134 by draining the compressor oil and charging w/ 134a that included a PAG oil charge. No seal change required. My car had excellent a/c for about three years till i removed it a month or so back. $40 for the compressor and $20 for the condensor- if anyone else needs parts. Also have good powdercoated a/c bracket, newer belt.

Already had the unit converted to R134a last summer. I had the unit temporarily charged up a couple of times last summer. A/C works great, when it holds the freon.

I can't seem to find a specific condenser for the 924S, though I see this one on Pelican Parts.

A unit for the 924S is mentioned here. But it appears to me that it may be the same unit that is listed on pelican. Any ideas?

Sounds like the compressor should work for my car, but I'm still trying to determine what type of condenser I need. Will PM you once I know for sure, but would defiantly like to have that compressor.

You're quite confused if a 944 would fit a 924 is that it? no, a 944's ac condenser is different from the 924, the model compatible with 944 is only the 968. you can call their hotline anyways inquiry will not cost you any cent aside from the phone bill. here's the number.
1-(800)-214-6695
or if you want you can also email them.
customerservice@supremecondensers.com

i ordered my ac condenser here.
here i provided you a link on the ac condensers keyword just check it if you want.

I've also got 924S A/C parts... not the compressor or lines... but everything else.
