Default 16" phonedials on '86 944 standard

I'd like to verify these phone-dial wheels will fit my '86 944 before I purchase them in the next day. From searching around here, it sounds like they will but I want to be 100% sure since I can't return them if I buy them:

2ea-7J X 16 ET52.3 Porsche part# 951.362.114.01
2ea-8J X 16 ET52.3 Porsche part# 951.362.116.01

Bolt Pattern: 5x130
Rim Diameter: 16
Hub Bore: 71.68
Offset: -52

they are late offset phonedials (52.3) so you need spacers since your car is an 1986 944 since we are early offset. 87+ 944 is later offset. you need spacers ie. i have some phonedials in 16 inch and are early offset at 23.3 from a 911.

I'm glad I asked. Thanks for the info. I'll pm you about your wheels. I need a set of beaters.

It doesn't necessarily contradict it.

You CAN run late offset wheels on an early car.. but you need a spacer/adaptor to make it work. You would need approx 1" spacers/adaptors (the difference between the 52mm offset of the late car and the 10-23mm offsets of the early wheels)

The early offset 951 phonies will look better anyway... skip the spacers and find a nice set early offset wheels.
