Somebody should write a "101 Projects for your 944" book
I think it's a great idea, and everybody 944 owner would buy it! It would be great for newbies , and for everyone else who happens to have spare time from fixing their 944 all the time. Who here is willing to tackle such a project? ...and send me a free copy for coming up with the idea...

I forgot about Clark's Garage, but still it's not a book. I was picturing a book you can physically have in your hands, flip through the pages, and keep with your Haynes manual. and there are also constantly new threads about new projects and ideas like RS-style door panels, push-start, headlight conversions, deleting this, upgrading that, etc.

The cost of publishing and producing a hard cover coffee table book is well over the price of at least 10 944's. Not many people would buy a $59.95 book when you can use renlist and clarks and put on a new set of brakes for that.

Print is dead. Use Rennlist, Clark's, Youtube etc etc. Got an I touch, blackberry etc or even a laptop? Then you can have all that info right with you. Just cover it in plastic so you don't get grease on it!
I bring my laptop into the garage all the time. I can look up what I need while I work on the car. Save helpful information in html format so you can always access it, or simply cut and paste into a word processor...make your own book!
Cheers!
