Default EBAY 944S2 WITH BOXSTER MOD'S

Browsing ebay uk and came across this S2 with Boxster door handles and mirror conversion looks to be well done but my personal preference is still for the 968 Aeros and handles.

wow i like that alot. the deep rockers, wheels, and low stance really make the handles and mirrors fit in imo... i wonder if a "head-on" shot would look funny since the mirrors stick out so much

The door handles are nice, I don't like the mirrors.

Very nice car all around, if you ask me! (Although, given a choice between that and the 968 stuff, i'll just stick with the 968 stuff)

Wow, I think it looks great. The door handles are an especially nice touch, looks really nice. The mirrors look pretty good even though they do stick out some, I've never been a huge fan of the stock square mirrors anyway. And, dang, the stance of this car is sick. Great lookin 944.

The shortest way to destroy the look of an old car is to try make it look modern...

I have to disagree with that, I think it's a testament to the design of the 944, with some subtle changes the car could easily pass for a much newer car. I find the general design of our cars a very timeless design, however some of the small details enhance the look of our cars when they are updated. I am not a fan of the mirrors, but everything is very nice. It seems very well done as well, it has a "factory" look, which I find is the key to subtle upgrades, especially cosmetic changes. I find the mirrors slightly to thin, and stick out a little far, but that's personal taste. The 968 mirrors would suit this car very well IMHO. Over all done very well, and I think it really enhances the look of the 944. Nice car!
