Default Pedal blocks?

I need to extend the pedals in my race car. Any ideas? Are there such things as pedal blocks?

At least give you some ideas anyway. I am thinking about trying out the second set listed on the page.

A cheap solution is to just bolt on box section aluminum to the existing pedals. I did that on my race car before I got around to spending money on decent pedals and cut up a cheap chinese spirit level which happened to be just the right width and thickness to extend my accelerator pedal. Painted black with some glued on tread grip and it worked fine. Not pretty, but under $10

I took off the rubber grip, cut Trex wood (for out door decking) to about the same size (3" tall, make yours to what you need), glue and screw then 2 SS hose clamps to attach to clutch pedal (one side to side one top to bottom ), works fine (unless some out else gets in and goes to drive it but then again....get out of my car....lol if you need pictures PM

The reason is that my new car has a cage designed for 5' 8", and I'm 6 foot. It has an X brace overhead. I need to sit further back and lower my seat to avoid cutting up a very nice cage.
Lowering the seat gives me 1", if I can add to the pedal assembly 1-1 1/2 it would fix the problem.
I can't use platforms because the only ones I have are vintage Gene Simmons and I paid 30K at the Hard Rock auction, not fire rated go figure.

I used anctual piece of wood on the track for a long time, and then had a talk with Carl @ 928motorsports. If you look on their, I use that same pedal. As a matter of fact...that is my install that is pictured. It really does work great. Easy install and cheap!

hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any questions.
