Yea TONS of Snow!!! A real suprise since I had just moved to Maryland/DC from New York only months previous, to avoid the snow and drive my 944 year round!
I did find out that the 944 does extremely well on snowy roads; with all season Bridgestone's, and many years of winter driving experience of course..!
Looking forward to some snow this year hopefully!!

my g/f has been trying to get me to a North American winter for ages. I can't even fathom living with all that snow. She's from the mountains of Central Otago in NZ so shes always loved the snow. last August was my first time in my 31yrs of experiencing snow fall. In contrast her family has always followed the snow. in our summer they all head to the Japan, US, Canada or Europe for ski holidays and to compete. Our 2 week trip to the Cook Islands 2 yrs ago was my g/f's first summer holiday shes ever had in her 24 yrs!

Not much snow in this one but a cool pic none the less. I took it while driving my dads S2 last january (my car was down for TB/WP). Yes he has the Euro fog/driving lights.

Here's mine, covered in salt for the first time in its life:
This is the airport "cell phone parking lot" at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. To the left is obviously restricted space as it's active taxiways. To the right is SR237, a busy, multi lane section of freeway. Both are protected from people trying to get to them by barbed wire-topped fences. The lot itself is 20 or so spaces long, and there's nothing but roadway at the ends. You can see I'm parked next to a handicapped parking space. To access what??? The garbage can?
I'm all for access but WTF is that about?

I see a couple of you who can all go to hell for being able to enjoy your car during your "winter" months too...oh wait, I'm in Colorado where the weather is pretty damn nice most of the time and we get 300 days of sunshine a year, I retract that statement about you guys going to hell now that my jealousy has subsided. In fact, let's mock all those people in snow tires and driving around in their winter beaters
