"all Porsche classic models, from the first 911, the 914 to the front-engine models (924 to 968, 928) to the last air-cooled 911 (993)."
I'm pretty sure it is made for ours... anyway Its a single din unit. You could put it in any car.

Ha, missed that. Other links I found only mentioned the 911. What I meant by "made" was the harness. Of course you can put any single din in any car, but did they make the wiring fit the 944 as well or is it going to be a PIA to figure it all out, is what I meant.

Not as expensive as you would think £500.00 ,ish in England and thats with 20% TAX, also according to the official Porsche site its good for the 924/44/68.

New Porsche Classic Radio Navigation System: high-tech in classic design

I *really* dig that. Navigation, bluetooth, USB, and DVD drive? I think this is definitely going on my official list of stuff to eventually put in the car, provided they release it in the US.
It would be even cooler if one of the previous owners of my car didn't hack out the wiring harness!

Yep, about the stupidest thing that you can buy is a builtin GPS system. There are standalone systems that you can move from one car to another and get free updates to the maps for about $100. When you sell your Porsche, you get to keep it.
