Default New buggy

It's not a 944, but if there were still parts cars laying around I could use it's suspension parts. The rear end would actually be really nice to stuff up in there.
Maybe a 911 drivetrain...

I have come close to buying a sandrail buggy myself a couple of times. They have to be a blast.

I have even thought about building a custom buggy, like a cross between this and the last Batmobile. I know it may sound stupid but it would be really fun.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Nice, but those tubes look a little weak (small) for any high impact wheeling. Do they actually have areas in Georgia to play with something like that besides the woods?

It's Georgia, you play with that kind of thing on the street here...

yeah, I'll see what needs doing once it's all apart. I was thinking about changing most of the tubing out anyway. The top definitely needs changing. And a little more weight everywhere will be good since it's going to be a street machine. The PO says if you punch it, it stands up on the rear wheels and you steer with the tractor brakes...

Def don't need that happening at an apex...been there done that.

I thought if you got caught driving something like that (or something with 24's or 26's on it) in John's Creek it's legal for residents to shoot at you themselves.

****, They better not. I'll be shootin' .45's back

Or maybe I could make a mount to hold my AK. That would be TIGHT, and totally legal! I love Georgia...sorta.
But then when I get to my destination I would have to open carry it. Never done that before, although also legal.

Made some good progress today. Got it off the trailer and on some jack stands. Got the seats and fiberglass body off, along with the floor pan and most of the front end. Cut the half shafts and removed the engine and tranny. Basically just a bare frame now. Dad needs to send me the pics to upload them.
