2012 968... Is that actually going to happen?
Saw it somewhere, but couldn't find any more info, leading me to beleive it's a prototype never to be built.

seeing as the '12s will be coming out soon and there is mum press about it, its not happening.

i think the closest we could get would be a panamera coupe. the next planned car i know of in the porsche lineup is a baby-boxster.

Look at the Lotus Evora, the Scion FR-S, and the miata NC. IMHO those are the closest you can get in today's selection to the basic formula of a 944. I even heard that the NC will become available with a ragtop again, which would be sweet.

if they made the previous-generation BMW Z4 coupe lighter, that is my image of a modern 944...easily in the top 10 sexiest cars from the fatherland
