There is a pin that needs to slide out before you can remove the housing. I think it's pulled from the passenger side but I may be wrong, I did it with the engine out of the car so it was fairly obvious. The pin is threaded so you can thread a bolt into it and grab it.

there is 1 retaining bolt (that has a dbl nut on it)

after u remove the bolt, u'll need to either slide hammer the clutch fork pivot pin out, or use a long thin rod (<5mm diameter) from the other side. be careful not to damage the "stop"

wish i had a diagram to show u.....but dcauto's site is down for some reason

Did you try working the shaft?

You can use a large socket and a nut or two along with a long bolt to pull it out

After smacking on it with a hammer forever I tried that and it slid out like butter

I just take a slave cylinder bolt and put it in the shaft to pull it out. I put a big *** washer on that bolt before screwing it in, then I use a pry bar on the bolt (the washer helps) to pull that shaft out.
