emilysgranny is passing away, I felt I needed to share.
Alot of the older guys here knew and met my dad, emilysgranny from years past and I wanted to let you know that he is passing away very soon. He has been diagnosed with cancer in several areas and it is too far advanced to do anything but comfort him. He was given a 1-3 week prognosis and is currently in hospice. It is hard to write this, but George always loved the guys here and I felt that even after a few years away, I would let you know. For the guys that knew him, thank you. He always enjoyed the rennlist.

I'm sorry to hear Nick. I believe my sisters and I met George on one of my trips to you and he, as you are, was extremely pleasant. My prayers for the most comfortable and happy end possible in the circumstances...

It was great meeting him and hearing the stories he had to tell us about his days back working on race cars. I appreciate the car you guys sold me as well, even though its gone now, it was a great experience.
A lot of the guys who no longer post here knew him as well. Its sad to see where time takes us, but I hope you're staying strong. Tell him I said thanks for everything hes done for us.

So sorry to hear that. My sincere condolences go out to the family in what must be an extremely difficult time.
I am sure I can speak for everyone that frequented rennlist from years past, the forum was a better place with him here.

I just wanted to let you guys know , my father George, passed away away on wednesday at 4:33 pm with his hand in my mothers, with 4 generations of our family at his side. He went peacefully and without any pain. He was 68 years old, a Vietnam veteran, fireman and an all around great guy. He and I did not always see eye to eye, but we had really grown to be friends in the past few years. I am proud to be his son and will miss him terribly. My brother made it home from Afghanistan and brought is family with him to be there.
I wanted to thank you guys here for the good wishes and prayers, my dad would have appreciated your concern for me. I know that the future is going to be rough for a while, and that life has to go on, but I will never feel the same.
