Default Question about receiver/drier

I'm putting the A/C system back together on the Turbo I bought a while ago and have what is probably a stupid question... What direction does the receiver/drier go? flow towards the rear of car or front?

Thanks

I hope you are installing a new receiver/drier, not the one that came off the car.

I am. I threw the old one away without making note of how it was installed

from the factory manual:

"NOTE:

During installation, make sure that the connection nipple marked "IN" points forward...."

So the "in" port is towards the front of the car? with flow going back towards the cabin?

Yup. That would also jive with what v2_rocket said.

I'll be doing the same thing along with a txv once I know my buddy will be around with his tank of r12. Would have been nice to have some AC on my trip to Ohio.
