I think it would be cool to hook up some kind of motor that would be somehow rigged to the headlight switch. Then they would go up or down by themselves and you wouldn't have to open the hood. You could do it all from the driver's seat.

i am in the middle of shaving down the head light assembly if all goes well it should save close to 1.5lb per light plus opens up the engine bay even more. i will post some pics and a write up in a topic after i test run the new setup

my idea couldn't come to life with out the help of these brackets.

I think they are done, but I'm waiting on a call from the fabricator before I head over to pick them up. They've been swamped lately, so it's taking a little longer than in the past to get these made. I'll try to remember to send you a PM when I get them.

Finally got the call from the fabricator, and I should have 10 more sets of headlight brackets in hand tomorrow morning.

I received the 10 sets of brackets yesterday and test fit the new design in my car. I tweaked the design slightly to offer more adjustability, and they fit and work great. For the 3 guys that bought sets already, I will be boxing them up tonight and shipping out tomorrow.

7 sets left in this run.

shortboy,

I made an attempt to get these into my car over the weekend, and the fitment in my car looks just like yours, so I am curious to see if other have had fitment issues. I was going to spend a bit more time on it this coming weekend to see if it was user error on my part.
