Default Fuel Pressure or lack of.........

i installed a fuel pressure gauge about a week ago and i noticed that my pressure does not hold over night by the next morning it is at 0 again. is this normal or should it be holding pressure i have changed the pump, filter, regulator and injector seals so if it is supposed to hold pressure i have a feeling its my fuel lines that should be changed out be for i go up in a fiery blaze

any info is good info

How does it start in the morning?
I believe there should be some pressure. You could have a leaky injector, not just the seals, but the injector itself.

When I did my recent tests neither the manual nor Clarks addresses anything more than the 20 minute leakdown. Mine passed the 20 minute test but by the looks of it the pressure would surely be 0 by morning. I also found 2-3 leaky injectors and I'm replacing all 4 this week. I'll test it again afterwards and leave it overnight just to give you some idea. Otherwise, if yours starts fine and passes the 20 minute test, I wouldn't spend a lot of time wracking your brain to figure it out.

It is correct. The pressure slowly goes down to zero after you turn the car off.

When running mine stays around 40 but after shutdown it is very slow but in the morning it will be at zero.

Going to zero is normal. On to the next issue.

Reading them might not point to bad fuel injectors. An injector has to be pretty bad to soil a plug, but just a little drippy to cause leakdown and rough idle. What I'm saying is that I had a good leakdown, plugs looked good, 2 injectors were dripping when I pulled the rail to change o-rings.

If you're happy with the idle/running and pass the leakdown, move on as ArticSteve put it!
