Default 4 years ago, almost to the day..

I received my 88 N/A.. with ~65K on the odometer

Since then it has been an affliction..
Suspension
Clutch
top end rebuild
trans mount
total interior
8 way power seats
this that and the next thing

and last night a deer took her from me!

I managed to walk away with a few minor scratches, but the appraiser just called me to tell me that pending astronomical valuation it is going to be a total loss... THIS is why I pay for comprehensive coverage on all my vehicles...

At least I can now say my door handles are wildlife resistant! as the drivers door is CRUSHED, but still opens as it should... the handle stood up to the test!

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you get compensated appropriately. Sorry to see that go.

Off topic, what kind of handle is that?

Man - sorry to see that. I remember this car being in pretty nice shape - saw it about a year ago when I was dragging Brian's car home...

that's COMPLETELY fixable. i don't know why insurance companies total cars with so little damage.. sure its going to cost a fair amount to fix the car, but overall your car is straight and APPEARS that most damage is cosmetic. fix the car instead of letting the insurance company take it.

Sounds worse than it looks. I bet the deer didn't fare as well...Just be thankful it wasn't a moose!

There are little bits of deer down the side and all over the interior!

I got some pictures of the gore.. but chose to spare the board. (the hair on the door handle is just a small bit of it!)

The hit was hard enough there is glass embedded in the passenger door card...
