Lotus Seats Can It Be Done

I like factory sport seats in leather since they are the best compromise between comfort and body support, and you can sleep/rest in them, which is great for long trips, autobahn for instance. ODs sparcos are great for that reason too.
That said, the best looking seats for me are still recaro pole position in leather

Nice, they look quite stock(ish).

To everyone installing aftermarket seats without other modifications:
I'm pretty sure the stock seats are designed to collapse in the event of a rollover.
And I have to echo what was said prior about the original design of the Lotus seats. I don't know specifically, but they were probably originally designed to be next to a firewall, which provides addition support to the backrest. Who knows if the seat structure reflects that and has less support in that area.
Take care,

IMHO, there look way to small, I thought about this last year, picked up a set (a lot like a 914 seat) and ended up selling it to a MX5 guy. Spend a few more bucks, buy some Momo or Sparco seats if you want a race seat.
