Default Soliciting 944-related ideas for a espresso tamper

Hello!

I have asked my buddy Joe Jackson to build me a fun coffee tamper for my espresso machine...something made from stainless steel. Joe is the guy who makes the shifter **** inserts.

So, what do you think? Which pattern would look good on the handle???

The following URL shows some patterns that Joe already has available:
http://home.comcast.net/~joejackson9...nesix_back.jpg

Let the fun begin!!

I think "Turbo" is the only option!!! Considering what espresso does to the body...

I think he should make them and sell them on here - I'd buy one.

I like the steel sun visor clips. How much does he sell those bad boys for???

Oh and I agree you have to go with turbo for an espresso machine.

Well, I do like Joe (both Joe Jackson and ...the coffee :-) ) so I do hope others may like the end result, so that Joe is not going to all that effort just for me. That, or I get to have a totally one-of-a-kind tamper!

The thingy you use to press down the coffee grinds into the espresso machine.

Hey Meneloas, I received the blank tamper today. I should have the CAD done over the weekend and can get started with the CNC work next week.

Now for the real thing...

It's a little difficult to make out the logo in that pic so here's a shot with more detail showing (excuse my hand):

Do you find that a fiiner grind is required to slow down the turbo extraction when it comes on boost?

I'll also be including a reprogrammed DGE (digital grinder electronics) chip to resolve that issue, a common occurrence when adding this much boost to any espresso.

Joe, MNK951,

The biggest question now is, "does your espresso maker now leak and leave a caramel/coffee like stain on your counter top?"

Also, "what type of seals did you update on the machine to prevent the Milk mixing with the Coffee prior to going into the cup?"
