Looking for advise regarding best route to replace driver's door actuator rod. Friggin thing sheared at the handle.

Not seeing just rod for sale at sites like Pelican, just the whole friggin handle with rod.

If I go for a used handle, are all the rods the same for the entire 944 series?

Have a good used one $28 shipped to Canada First Class Or $35 Shipped Priority mail international. Just swap out your lock cylinder and trim gaskets.

The door linkage is available directly from Porsche for about $13/ea. Left and right have difference part numbers, FYI.

This is the item you replace left and right sides are different ,
Fairly simple you'll notice a tiny roll pin , which you can slide out , replace rod , adjust the distance in travel . and be careful putting it back in.

Most of the time it's the piece above , or the actual trigger ( finger part) , allot of time when the handles are removed they tend to break at the rivet area ...the metal quality and thickness in this area is weak.
