Default Bluetooth-capable radio in my 944

I visited a local stereo shop and they want to hack the wiring harness to install a stereo. Does Crutchfield still sell good wiring harness adapters, to your knowledge? I am thinking of an Alpine.

Looking forward to your insight.

I have a kenwood BT-900 in my car, the harness was already hacked so i did the solder/shrink tubing thing to install it. Bluetooth is over-rated, the sound quality can leave a bit to be desired. Its nice for phone calls, but for pandora one i still prefer the aux in, so i barely use the bluetooth feature.

Default The Bluetooth profile matters

Many cars default to using the hands-free profile (HFP) and not the head set profile (HSP). The differences on those are not obvious in the owner's manual...Basically, HFP is optimized for phone calls and sounds a bit better than AM radio. I bet you a few beers that if you tell your car to use the HSP profile, nice reach stereo sound will start pouring through the speakers. :-)
