Default Window travel has no limit up or down

search turned up zip on this problem.

Driver's window 994S2. Window travel has no limit up or down. That is to say when the down switch is activated the window goes below the door edge and keeps on ratcheting until pressure lifted from switch. Same with the up switch. Window goes to top of frame and keeps on ratcheting up-wards until pressure is removed from switch.

Any ideas?

Could this be a sticky switch? Had this happen to my other car (88) and it was due to the houseing around the switch warped due to heat/age. I trimmed the rocker switch edge that was grabbing the trim and no longer an issue.

I certainly look at the switch when I install the Rennbay donuts on the regulator. Thanks!
