For $900, don't make it perfect.. make it a racecar instead!

I like the color, and it would probably clean up pretty nice. As long as the interior isn't trashed, you can't lose at $900. Part it and triple your money, or fix a few things and drive it as-is without worry.

Get it brah!!!

My car was in much worse condition and I dropped 1500 bucks to buy it, only took another 500 to get it running like butter, probably another 2000 in misc parts in 2 years of ownership, and look at it now! worth every penny, awesome experiences, as long as you don't take it to a shop!

You guys. It was SO bad. Hahaha. The paint doesn't look terrible in the picture, maybe just some clearcoat peeling, but oh no, the thing was sanded down and rusty. No body damage though, so that was an unexpected plus. Didn't even look at the tires. Then I opened the door... And imagine that you could take every piece of the interior, and attempt to put it in a paper shredder. It was BAD. Probably been sitting for at least 7 years. No head unit either. Maybe it had speakers? Didn't even look. Tried to start it, tach didn't bounce. Didn't hear the fuel pump kick on, unless 944's have a silent fuel pump... Sprayed in some ether, it started up, hit 2500rpm, and died within a second. In addition, the seller was questionable, to say the least.

The verdict: Not even sure if I'd pay to have it towed. But for some reason when I got in the car, I realized that I really want one of these. Didn't have luck today, but I'm sure yall will be seeing me around soon!

Its funny how this happens. The first time I ever sat in one, put my hand on the shifter, I knew I had to have one. It just feels so right!

Keep lookin, you'll find another

They are addicting cars. Started up and then died? Sounds like the afm is disconnected....then again sounds like about 400 other things too lol.

Find a decent one, like I did. Take the risk, make Clark's and these forum your new part time religion and you will be fine.

Bummer it did not work out. I must agree they are love at first sight kind of cars, and then, she is out the door with your wallet and all you want to do is get in her one more time.

To bad you're not out here on the west coast I have been seeing them for 1200 all day....May pick one up as a transplant....

At that price I'm not even looking at title, body, mechanicals or if it runs. If it has LSD, Fuchs or late sports seats I'd make an offer sight unseen.
