I was surprised to see the vents are actually fiberglass..figured that out after a front end collision crunched the first 931 nose panel i had on my n/a a few years ago .

Also they are unfortunately NLA.

Aside from just looking sweet, have you noticed a difference in engine cooling?

FWIW.... I haven't noticed additional cooling in my na. But I think it will be nice to have if I go forward with my plan to supercharge it. Mounting the inter cooler behind the panel.

It looks like the gauge is running a little cooler which I wasn't expecting since I'm taking away a bit of the pressure differential from behind the radiator. But then, my gauge tends to jump around a millimeter or two based on how the ground is feeling at any given moment so it could just as easily be that.

Very nice!

Is that a black lip or molding on your red valence?

I made it big when a spammer responded to a ~decade old post of mine!

Unfortunately, the other pictures seem to have gone away (as did many of my Rennlist-hosted images) but here's the final 931 nose panel picture, along with the DIY front lip.

Thanks! The problem is that the 931 nose panel doesn't fully fit with the turbo/S2 without modification but there is a different vented version available for you.

Also, wherebouts in NoVA are you?
