A good match for guards red in a spray can is Rustoleum Sunrise red. I am currently experimenting with it on my turbo bumper setup.

I'm considering doing my wheels all battleship grey... or gloss black... or white... or maybe go 80's style and do them red with the brushed lip- I can't decide which one will look best on GR.

This is the best I can do for a side shot to work with.

Default Foliatec Vinyl Spray from Germany

Anyone use this as an alternative to Plasti-dip? I found it last night, and haven't heard of it yet. I like that the glossy versions aren't two-part like the PD variants. It appears more like paint then the PD, which looks more like rubber to me.

Here is a review of it as well, notice in the photos, it doesn't appear as "rubbery" as plasti-dip.

I was planning on repainting my faded, dull phone dials this spring, but after hearing about plasti-dip, I am not sure. It might look cool to have black wheels on my silver car. Any updates on durability of this stuff longterm.

I have decided I am going to paint mine urethane basecoat/clearcoat as I want them all 7A1 Porsche Grauschwarz.

I think most people are happy with the durability of the plasti-dip for what it is though.

Half done with valence "dipping". We'll see how close to guards red it ends up.
