Hi All,

Just a quick query for you all.

One of the lenses on the pop up headlights has disappeared on my 944 s2.. (i guess it's either fallen off somewhere or cracked/smashed from a stone and then fallen off). Anyways, my question is this...

Is it possible to simply replace the lens or do I need a new a whole new headlight... I hope I can just get a new lens and fit it back on...??

If I can replace just the lens, how does it fit on / secure in place..?

Are all lenses the same across all 944's? I know that the assemblies are different on the turbo and s2 models but I'd guess the lenses are standard across all 1983-1991 models?

Any advice greatfully received!

You can buy a replacement at any local auto store. The lenses are interchangeable between years, and are held in place with 3 screws around the edge of the glass (you have to remove the black plastic shroud first of course).

My local store sells the whole light with housing and bulb in a sealed package.

The headlamps are a sealed beam unless they have been coverted to GT style.
