Default 944 S2 Spark Plugs

How often do you folks replace? I put about 1,600 miles/year on my p car.

I tend to over repace these. It does depend on use. Bestvway is just to look at them and check for electrode wear. I replace mine every 2 years (track car and supercharged)

Eric, thanks. I see the OE Bosch WR5DC aren't readily available, but the Bosch WR5DC+ is. Are these ok?

The service book says every 20000Km, thats what i do.Last year i put 70000km on the clock.its my daily driver on LPG. (62ct)per liter.
I switched to NGK plugs,workin great so far.

I used the WR5DC+ with no issues. I had 40k miles on the previous ones, still looked and operated fine. The only downside is that they are made in Russia and I don't by from countries that are supremely fascist. Didn't know it of course unit I read the box. Next will be NGK.

The rigth plugs for your car will be Bosche WR-5-DC+ Super Plug (Copper tips) #999-170-179-90-M14.Available from www.pelicanparts.com for $2.75 a unit.

Thanks Ernie....just wondering if I needed to be concerned with the Ir blended with Cu electrode? (that's the + vs the std WR5DC plug)

Jep32 im running the plug ernie says in my s2 ... no probs, came recomended by many .over 12000 miles and still ok

Any advice on pulling the boots off? (do they pull straight out easily). Advice on gap value since there's a range?

i guess you stay away from things with "made in the USA" also?

Russia has regressed quickly and dramatically on basic freedoms and the democractic process. In addition, they have subs sitting in the Arctic Ocean on the ready to destroy much of the United States. I don't buy products from Russia knowingly.
