Default 924S Brake Upgrade

What are the most obvious brake upgrades for a 924S?

Looking to beef up the brakes a little when it is time to replace the rotors/pads.

928 or some other model calipers? What rotors?

There is not a lot you can do actually, get fresh calipers, rotors and stainless lines. Going to the s2/928 brakes requires swapping the hubs and struts so it's involved and expensive if you already had decent struts in your 924. Your other option is the rennbay wilwood kit for 750. It's nice but does not increase the rotor diameter so it's not a huge braking gain. Just rebuild what you have and it will stop well. I did just that on my 924 and it was good. Are you tracking the car?

You should be able to put turbo front brakes on with the 1986 turbo spindles and hubs. Not sure about the rears.

Have you put a V8 or turbo engine in the thing? If not, then you probably don't need to upgrade the brakes - just make sure the stock units are functioning properly, your fluid is fresh and you have good quality pads.

If you're just looking to spend money on bling, I believe there's a Willwood kit for NA 944s.

x2 on quality flush, fluid and maybe some "sportier" pads. Keep it simple.

Travis at Rennbay has a set of Willwood callipers for the 944NA, but I'm not certain they will fit.

If I were you I would go over to 944hybrids and look at the LS430 caliper swaps.
