Default Anyone had any problems with Deutschnine?

Hi!

September 28: ordered the shift lever, short shift kit and 968 rocker conversion kit from Deutschnine for about € 800. Shift lever and shift kit arrived after 2 MONTHS.

968 sideskirts never showed up. They sent me a shipping label from DHL on November 15: nothing happened.
On December 5, a new shipping label from UPS: nothing happened.
On December 18, a third one was sent to me from TNT! and nothing happened.

All shipment companies say they never received a package or can't be sure about it.

Anyone had similar problems with ordering something from Deutschnine?

Deutschnine Should be sending you the UPS Tracking Number if in fact they had posted items ordered. I have heard that they are very slow in shipping to the States. Sure would have thought they would be faster in Europe.

Cheers,
Larry

Good luck. I tried ordering parts from them several times over the years and never could get anywhere with them. I'd stay as far away as possible from Douche9.

I ordered their dual GTS headlights over in the Summer 2012. Of the 20+ years of owning Porsches and buying from all types of vendors I wasn't remotely satisfied with their (lack of) customer service, or the quality of their pricey items when they eventually arrived months later. I will not be doing business with them again!

+1 on all these comments. i have a thread on exactly this issue from 2 years ago... sent them way too much money for bad quality parts and waited a lifetime. they did honor a refund though many months later.... good luck!

I ordered the short shift kit from them for my 944S2. It took 2 months for them to manufacture it and then they sent it economy mail to New Zealand so that took another month!

When it arrived it looked good and well made. I put it on the car and on my first drive about 20km from home the gear lever went sloppy. After being towed home and pulling the shift kit out I found they hadn't machined the groove for the circlip deep enough which means that when you engage reverse it pops the circlip off the pivot shaft and won't allow it to engage gear. Luckilly my friend was able to fit the odd "L" shaped welded piece with the shaft onto his lathe and deepen the groove. It has been fine since then (10,000km). Not really good enough considering the price and the delivery delay.

I would seriously think twice about ordering anything from them again.

Ordered the 968 rear end bodywork (for the 944) from them and had similar experience regarding freight. In the end I got a refund.
