Default Porsche paint

Perhaps this may not be the best place for my question but I'm going to ask it all the same. Recently picked up a black S2, car has the original paint and it looks okay but I'm wondering what can I do to really bring out the shine? I've seen some great looking black cars on this site, maybe I can get some tips as to how to make car look better, thank you.

Do yourself a favor and visit the detailing section. Might look closely and determine whether or not you need medium or heavy polishing. If the paint is original, do the least amount you can, lest you accidentally eat through the paint. I was able to eradicate swirls and minor scratches with my polisher. Topped it off with Klasse Sealent and admired the tuxedo-black finish.

Try autopia.org and read some of those articles also. One of the guys on here recommended it to me and my turbo has never looked better. Anything dealing with detailing and polishing is on there

First thing you need to do is determine if you have single or two stage paint.

Like ehokana said, go to Autopia.org. Well worth the time. Also can't hurt to follow Detailed Image and their tips/write-ups. Lastly, look up AmmoNY detail on Youtube. That guy knows his stuff.
