Default Gemballa Le Mans

Hi

These amazing Gemballa Le Mans wheels are for sale in The Netherlands for
€1200 (about $1600). And man am I drooling over these.

Sizes are 9jx18 et 52 in the front and 11jx18 et 62 at the back. Will they fit my 87 944S? Or should I save this purchase for my future 968 project?

Tim

The same seller also has black 993 turbo wheels for €800. Same as in the picture below from a Motorwerks car.

Sizes are a bit less extreme: 7,5Jx18 et 50 and 9Jx18 et 52.

Also good looking on a 944. The Gemballa's are nicer though, but not sure about those 11"s in the rear..

I have turbo twists on mine, and I think it is one of the best looking wheels for the 944.

Dutchman, those should fit, just put a 245/35 on the front and a 285/30 on the rear. If lowered should work with this or be close with a slight roll of the guards. I say great looking wheel for your car.

Thanks James.

Car's lowered quite a bit. Still not sure of buying them. I've currently got 17" OZ futura's which I still love. But your advice will help my consideration

You have a 6speed 968 box in your car? Very cool upgrade. How did you manage the speedometer?

Tim.

Might need the 18"s to fill up the wheel arch with the current front spoiler though.

This picture was taken a few months ago. Modifications are now done (968 skirts, naca duct intake, shaved bumpers, side molding removed etc) and ready for paint!

Thanks. Here's the front view. Will post new pictures during the assembly when I get it back from my painter in a few weeks.

Those wheels look good too, although with the aggressive front will look really nice with those 18" Gemballa's IMO. Not running a 968 trans, just my brand name I guess LOL.
