+1 you can sell the 6 spd for $2+ at least, $3 if it doesn't howl. Get it, sell off the block and tranny, source an LS1 or 6 (if you're lucky) get a 951 AOR 5 spd transaxle and you will have the 2nd most amazing 968 anywhere.

Doesn't look that bad. Congrats. A little elbow grease under the hood and all should be good. I have had engines in some of my projects look worse than that and they turned out just fine.

I spent some time at the yard today. Undercarriage is amazingly clean. Engine had no leaks. Engine looks worse in pics. I think once i get the cylinders looked at and some lube in there, i thing it will all be fine?. the only damaged part was the front cowl.
I am liking it?

yea. i did it..paint is the kicker. Now the businessman in me is thinking how much value there is in the parts...

A good 968 like that with solid unwrecked body and documentation would probably be worth a decent paint job.
