Default Post pictures of your ingenious/fantastic/innovative T-bar access holes/covers

Greetings all,

I've done some searching around and haven't come up with much in the realm of handsome, well packaged DIY Torsion Bar access holes.

Allow me to clarify: I'm not wondering whether or not its a good idea to cut holes in my car. I'm also not in need of solutions to avoid cutting holes in my car. This is territory that I am already familiar with.

Heres the deal: I have this twisted figment of an idea in my head that perhaps some cool T-bar access would actually look perfect on a CS themed car. I'm basically talking about packaging so its not just a "hole in my car" kind of deal.

Furthermore, I feel that I'll be swapping many different bars in and out at different heights at somewhat of a constant, since the only way to really make a car quick around the track or AX course is to put down times, change stuff and see what happens. I find trial an error testing methods to be quite fun. Dropping/tilting the rear end, while not that difficult, I feel also isn't entirely necessary if a good solution can be had.

All that said, I know for a fact we have some brilliant engineers, racers, DIYers, and shop owners among us here on RL. I'm curious to see if any of you have created covers or plugs using Dzus Fasteners, recessed screws, etc., or adapted solutions from 911s, 914s and countless VWs that were equipped with such access. Lets see what you've got!

If you don't actually intend to constantly be messing with the bars, don't drill a hole/introduce a rust starter point. Get a sticker that looks like a drilled hole/access cap if just the look is what you're after.

As stated in in my initial post, I do intend mess around with the bars quite a bit. Rust doesn't worry me a ton, there will likely be paint involved. Stickers are a no-no. This is function over form, but also the challenge of making function aesthetically pleasing. I have put thought into just covering a potential hole with a piece of vinyl in a rock chip guard fashion.

Those are super cool! But also super expensive!!! That said, elephant never disappoints. That corner balancing adjustment looks tasty as well

I just have a hole.

T-bar has either been tapped or has had a nut welded to it so I can use my slide hammer for tapping them out.

Yeah, honestly, with some fresh paint I actually don't dislike the look of just a plane old hole. I have the advantage of having a black car as well which makes it exponentially easier to get away with funky body hacks...haha

NOOOOOOOOOOO! Haha. Actually that would be a good place for a side exit, but I could never forgive myself for putting fake exhausts in weird places on my car
