i'm not asking for a quick turn around, but just the occasional update would be cool-even if it's to let me know he's stuffed working on other cars-i just don't want this car to sit there for three months when i could be driving it..
You and your car deserve better than this treatment, I would be choked.

Well Hell! I don't like my wife sitting in the car, she pushes buttons, opens the cassette holder, opens the glovebox letting it slam down.......and she's my wife!!!!

I would be damned to let someone else touch my $250,000 car, let alone my lowly 951.

Do I find another guy? I'm in Manhattan, ny-can anyone recommend someone really good in the tri state area who knows 924's and in particular 924 carreras? Or am I crazy and I should just wait for him to fix it?
Give SM Motorsports in LI a call. They're not far from Manhattan and I used to bring my 951 to them. Very detailed oriented and they know the 944 series well. No affiliation whatsoever despite my username.

I know someone who i think is still near Stony Brook that might be able to help you service the car. Importantly he knows the 931's very well... the Carrera GTS is a different breed than the 944 series cars.

Ill relay him this thread.

Thank You for that TechnoDuck. Yes, I can help and I even have some experience specifically with the GTS cats to draw from. Visit my Instagram page for some insight @soyracer
Let me know 😜👍
