Default Only 944 seat cover?

Has anyone installed these covers on a set of sports seats yet? If so do you have photos you can share? What is the quality like for those that have these covers?
Thanks in advance.

Default Newly installed

I just installed a set of front Iggee seat covers. Very pleased. Absolutely, positively remove the seats first. Very easy installation and they look great. While some posted issues removing their seats, I had no trouble once I found the right 10mm socket. I had a few and some of them were too wide (outer DM) to fit.

Attempted to install OEM seat covers myself - an absolute nightmare and very difficult to do, especially the front seat backs. Each seat back has 3 wires (2 long ones L/R and a short one for the top) to pull the fabric into the foam seams via fabric loops to maintain the fabric/vinyl stretched and tight fitting. These fabric loops dry rot over time and the fabric starts to "float" loosely. To get these loops in place is the hard part and I gave up...

If you are not after the perfect look and prefer simple slip-on covers go for it.

I did a set of early sport seats with only944 covers. I think they turned out quite nicely:

Haven't used the only 944 covers specifically but there are several that make them. I've done it 3 times now, be very methodical and plan a full day+ the first time. I used hogrings the first time and then zip ties the next 2 (happier with that method). Take pictures and/or special notes while dissassembling, and IMO do one at a time so you have a fully assembled one to look at in case you get stuck somewhere.

Thanks for the information, do you recommend a supplier of seat covers? I think I might try to cover my passage seat first, as you suggest, then the drivers side. I did find a salvage yard in NC that had seats from a 911 that would bolt in, but they were $1200, and gray, but I do need black.

I got mine from Autoberry.com, talked to them on the phone, they sent me several samples, did mine in leather that I was VERY impressed with.

(sorry, don't have a great pic handy of just the seats but they were the first ones I did, used a good amount of time, patience, steam, etc..)

Thanks! For the most part, yes, I was able to reuse the foam. I had a couple of damaged areas that I had to repair by cutting out the damaged foam and gluing in a block of new foam, then trimming the new foam to match the original contour.

I would like to replace the thigh bolster foam on the driver's side, but I was unable to find replacements anywhere. If I had been thinking, I probably would have swapped the passenger side bolsters onto the driver's side, since they were far less worn.

Still, the seats are comfortable and look nice now, so I am happy. It would not be difficult to remove the bolster covers and replace the foam if I were ever able to locate new ones.

Here are two photos of my sports seats after a year and a half of wear. I am still extremely happy with the results.

944only advertise around 20-30 days to manufacture the covers and another 20-30 days for shipping- thats is crazy - around 60 days .
You can build a small house in 60 days...

I remember them taking around a month when I ordered mine.
