I want to have my 944 back to its original looks and this include the stereo. Does anyone have the original Blaupunkt radio that came with the 944's that they want to sell me? I had a Kenwood in there when I got the car and I took it out because it did not belong to the car with all the mulit colored lights and stuff. I am bidding on a Blaupunkt on ebay right now but I am not sure if I will win it or not.

is there any specific model that you are looking for? I have the stock radio still from my '87 924S...not sure if its the one that was stock with your car though.

No specific model, as long as it will fit my 944 (if it is DIN size, it should).
Also as long as the display color matches my display - amber or light orange color. It has to look good cosmetically.

Not sure what the exact model of the radio is...but you can see what it looks like from the picture here...



It was in perfect working order when i took it out. Has the amber/light orange display. Let me know if you still need it. I think its the Blaupunkt Reno SQR-26. I have no idea how much its worth, so i guess just make me an offer. If you do want it, i wont be able to get it out to you until probably next weekend (im not at home).
