I'll look through my bins and see if I have one!

I have headlight parts that will never get used again (by me). Make a list of stuff, and stop out some time when I am around. I.e. make sure we coordinate the meeting.

Thanks man. I just picked up some pivots from a local junk yard for $2 on Saturday. I'll let you know if I need anything else!

So installed the headlight pivots and spacers and the headlights are working like a champ when manually operated. I haven't attempted to use them with the car running yet. I had to also replace the hood latch which broke in the accident, but now I noticed that the gap between my hood and header panel is much larger than before. The gap looks correct on my driver-side but then slant much larger on the passenger-sider. I've tried to adjust the hood by loosening the 1/2" bolts on the hinges but it's still not right.

The interesting thing is, the driver side is the the side that hit the ditch. I checked and verified I has no frame damage so I think this is just panel issues. What should I do? I'm thinking about taking off both fenders to see if one is bent or maybe I can see if there is another cause.

They sell some alignment shims at your local parts store. try using one of these in between the hood and hinge to move it over a bit. Or, perhaps some washers might help too if you can find them in a variety of thicknesses. I'd leave the fenders alone, check the "light line" down the side of the fender to see if there are waves in it. That will confirm slight bends in the fender .

You also may want to crawl under the front end and take a series of measurements of parts/assemblies in reference to each side. The car may a tweaked a bit that you won't see from above...

You are exactly right sir. I did just that and found a slight tweak which is causing the issue. Trying to find ways to fix it now.

Wow! I offered a good suggestion (pretty rare)...

Anyway, where's the tweak and can you take a pic or two?
