Ouch! What happened? What's the recovery time frame?

Broke my ankle. Have 2 plates in there now. Can't put any weight on it for 6 weeks. Who knows how long after that it'll be till I can push in a clutch.

Been through that, except I have no plates/screws. Somehow the tendons held the bone fragment in place, and I had a full leg cast so I couldn't possibly walk. Those 6 months were pretty boring. Hope you mend quickly!

So you're in the market for an automatic 944

Lol. I'm not sure I could even get in or out of a 944 right now. But regardless, I'd only ever get an auto 944 if I lost my leg.
Fortunately I also have a full size truck to drive. But man, the gas bill is going to be high this summer.

So your summer project is rigging a 50cc motor to that thing, right?

Hope you heal quickly though!

If I keep it at 49cc I won't need a license for it.

I hope your recovery goes well. I sprained my ankle very badly 3 years ago, and I wore a plastic boot cast for a few months. It never really healed right, so I got PT for it this year and it's finally feeling better. So don't neglect PT, and while you're off your foot, try to do some leg exercises to keep your muscles from going weak.

Left ankle? I sprained my right and couldn't drive any type of car. Then I learned how to drive an auto with my left foot...

My friend let me borrow a 968 tiptronic for a few days. I couldn't give it back fast enough.

Thanks. I assume there will be some PT involved, but that's weeks away. Actually, I sprained my right ankle at the same time. But I'm wearing a brace on it and can walk and use the scooter & crutches.

Here's a pic from yesterday of the bruising.Attachment 1057655
