Is there any reason why replacing the DME relay would smooth out the idle?

Default Is there any reason why replacing the DME relay would smooth out the idle?
I had a bad vibration at idle which disappeared at 1500, and I was certain it was caused by bad motor mounts. I then replaced my DME relay with the Focus 9 solid state relay, and the vibration has just about disappeared. Coincidence? Why would that be the case?

Did you change back to the old relay and the vibration came back. So could you reproduce the effect this way?

Only thing I can think of is the old relay was giving an unstable power source to the DME?

Mine seemed to run smoother too, after installing the SS DME. Maybe the relay was chattering?

I didn't - I'm afraid that whatever happened won't happen again if I swap them back, and I'll be back to replacing the motor mounts
