Different size spacer right and left
Has anyone put different size spacers on the right and left side of their 951?
To avoid wheel rub, looks like I need 12mm on the left rear and 15mm on right rear since the axle is not completely center.

i think you'll find that the axle and suspension pickup points on the bodywork are precisely centered, it's the surrounding sheet metal that's off-center. Our cars suffered from fender creep during production. I can't see a 3mm side-to-side difference having any adverse affect, so I say go for it and let us know the results.

Nah, the Germans can handle 2 sets of units, they put mph and kph on the same speedo. So a 944 could land on Mars. But getting there would be tough, because you'd need to do about 1000 timing belt changes.
I've see a lot of 944s (or 951s) with slightly different wheel-to-fender spacing on the left/right. I've read lots of posts where people "fix" it with a small spacer with no adverse effect.

yes- my turbo needed different spacers for each side. After i swapped some rear end stuff around and bolted the rear torsion tube assy back in place, they were wrong and had to be swapped around again. You can loosen the rear end and "slide" it side to side just alittle...course that messes up your alignment.
