Manual rack feels quite heavy as it is thanks to all the super soft steering wheels of today, how does 2 turn rack feels? I imagine it must be real pita/impossible to park?

These racks have not been produced in manual but it can be done. With a narrow body car / narrow tires I dont think it would be too bad.
On the 1989 944 Turbo Cup car I had I often used my 18" BBS wheels with 265:s up front. The manual Porsche motorsport Cup rack was 2,9 turns and was OK for parking with those wheels.

I have a Cup rack waiting for my 924RS build but I am tempted to use a Sellholm 2,1 instead. Will run 215-225 tires on that car.

I took the liberty of reaching out on Facebook and found what seems like another 2 people. One claims he knows others offline who'd potentially be interested. I'm sure there'd be more with a fixed price and if there's more noise. Not sure what the best course of action would be to help include them if they are in fact willing to put money down.

If anyone needs a rack as a core I have a 944 power rack they can have for free, just pay shipping. Will come with the u-joint shaft too.

PM me as I probably won't check this thread more.

Years ago I "depowered" it by greasing the internals and plugging the fluid ports but it is all reversible for this conversion.
