Volvo has been producing these quick wagons and sedans for quite some time, going back to the old turbo 240's it seems there has always been something with some sleeper qualities rolling out of the factory. I for one would love to have the latest offering, I think the 300 hp, awd wagon would make a very nice daily driver.

thats actually a special edition done by EVOLVE .. it has an adjustable coilover setup, it has 15 inch twin rotors all the way around with dual six piston calipers per wheel... can you say overkill, its around 500 horses and will spank all the way around the autox track or on the street....

dude DRIVE one of those, you will be impressed... it has an active suspension made by Ohlin, flick a swith and it turns from slushy cruiser to something close to an M3. Its not too bad, just kinda bulky, but for 45k you really can't go wrong with a car that capable.
I think its nice that its subtle with only "R" badges on one spoke of the wheel, the trunk and on the brake calipers. Although I would like it slightly boxier for my own tastes

The volvo evolve is not a concept car, you will find it at volvo dealers in a few months. Before x-mas as a body kit for the 60R and 70R and before the summer the real car will be on sale. Kind of scary to know that the volvo wagon next to you at the stop light is capable of 300 km/h and will reach 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds...
