Can you post some pics of the headliner? The one in my '82 is all fubared, and I'd love to get another one. I'm heading up to your neck of the woods next weekend, so could probably swing by on Saturday.

If you want to drag any of those parts with you on your way down to Md you'll pass right by me on i95 (se pa/n de). I'd like those trans cores and manual hubs/axles, maybe some other stuff.

Just a quick thank you to the Toft family for their hospitality yesterday.
Pleasure meeting you in person Chris, and thank you again for the extra parts.
You are a true asset to our community.

Were you in the Maryland area two or so weekends ago? I was in my 928 and I rolled up behind another in Silver Spring that looked like yours. Took me by surprise as it was the only 928 I've seen driven on the streets in a couple of years.

Thanks to Mr Crumpler, Mr Byrd and Ryan, and Brad, many of the parts will live-on.

Meanwhile, the 85 frame/shell and most large remaining parts (nobody (wanted the body parts!) are headed to an obscure multiacre warehouse of a Porsche guy, where they will literally be placed on a shelf.

It isn't exactly "Ark of the Covenant" caliber, but is a similar situation nonetheless.

(We are still thinking about using a section through the entire hatch/tail to create ***-end wall art, with working taillights. But judgement of the new steward is that would be sacrilegious)
Plus, along with his S4, he has twin turbo 996 cars...and says that "that's real ****".

Avar, no, not in Silver Springs recently with 928, but headed your way!
Two reds and a brown will make the trip. Probably. ( I need at least one for Frenzy-ing next month!)

The grey Euro in the avatar is now owned by Ed of Guardian water pump fame.
