Default HVAC Setting motor linkage?

Hi all,

Finally got the AC working on my 928...at least part of it. The rear AC is working great, but I'm still having issues with the front AC.

When I got my 928, it came with a couple of boxes of parts. One of these parts was the HVAC setting motor. I know where it goes, but I am missing the linkage for it. Can someone post a picture of the linkage so I can see if it's in these boxes?

Thanks!

Hi, it's just a steel rod, threaded at one end and a 90° bend at the other, it's about 4.5" long.
This is the only pic I've got.

Thanks. I don't think that made it into the boxes, so I guess I'll be calling 928 Intl.

I'd been having issues with my AC as well. There is also a linkage on the other side. You can access it through the glove box.

The page from the WSM will make more sense when you take the glove box out. Very difficult to see and virtually impossible to properly adjust from underneath.

I lengthened the linkage almost an inch, it made a significant difference in temperature control.

Good luck,

Lance
