In case anyone was wondering, my kidney stone hasn't actually passed yet. I was on the fence about coming out, even while I was driving out there. But as always, it was worth it.

Another great Frenzy in the can. Perfect weather and fun driving. It was great to reconnect with everyone again, and meet some new faces too! Had visits with the OH gang, the MI gang (and damn, Brian's car - what a friggin monster), the TX gang, the DC/VA/MD gang, the NYC and New England gang, and folks from everywhere else in between. Unfortunately, shortly into the trip, my 928 experienced what appears to be alternator failure, so I had to swap it out for the 911. I still got to park near the sharks though!
The drive home was fantastic - took the southern route across MD and WV (I-68) and we were able to really stretch our legs. We started out with the MI guys, but they must have stopped as we lost them. Good thing too, as I likely would not have survived much longer trying to keep up with Brian
Hats off to the organizers - Greg Nichols always puts on such a fantastic event, and Kevin Lacy and JP. The shirts, the food, the place (thanks Daryl) the tech sessions (thanks Stan and Sean), and all the other stuff. We had great Frenzy stickers this year too (Thanks Shawn - you out did yourself).
Here are a couple of pictures - two beautiful sharks - Evan's (first timer) beautiful velvet red S4 5 speed, and George M's stunning coral red GT. Also, a picture of Joel in his element.

Another SPECTACULAR Frenzy!
I didn't take many pictures as I usually do, so I have non to add this year. But, there's plenty of great ones posted already. I'm hoping there's more.
I hope all of the first timers enjoyed, what us old timers already know and keep coming each year.
We have such an outstanding community. Everybody (including wives, significant others, life partners, wingmen and "good friends") that comes to Frenzy (or our other gatherings) are like our cars. Each car, has a little uniqueness or personality about it. Something that sets it apart from the others. The differences could be drastic or very subtle. I noticed this as the cars were pulling away for the Fun Run. Our cars are very much like the people that come to these events. I love looking at the "different" 928s. But, I much more enjoy hanging out, talking/laughing with all my unique personality 928 friends.
Thank you ALL, for making this Frenzy another memorable and extremely fun event for me.

Thank you Gregg, JP, and Kevin (as well as any other's whom I did not see but worked on putting together and pulling off) another great gathering of people (and what a great gathering of 928's - best lineup of cars at any of the Frenzy's I've attended, dating back to 1999). It was so good to see both the many new attendees and to reconnect with so many of us 'old buggers' (NOT referring to 928 models - ha). I had a great opportunity to catch up with about a dozen old friends and learn of their life experiences over the past few years. Always rewarding to be able to do that. There were about a dozen more I had hoped to spend time with, but just couldn't get it all in on one day. Many thanks again to all the attendees and organizers who helped make it another great automotive day for me.

We made a couple stops on the way back and finally made it home around 5am this morning.
Was great to see everyone. Thanks to all the organizer and sponsors for making it a great event.
Hope to see everyone again in November!

For those of us who didn't do the FunRun, Hans proposed a FunWalk (from one brewery to another).
That should be a tradition as well.

Stan doing his good deed (one of them) for the day
Almost got it finished!

I was finally able to make it for the Friday meet-up at HI. I'm so glad that I did. I got to catch up with so many friends that I hadn't seen since last year, and some going back further...
..but I also met so many new folks.
I also noticed that this seemed to be a record year for spouses and sons/daughters. Big props go out to the spouses, sons and even a daughter or two who stuck around through the whole event, patiently endured and behaved like mature adults during some of the more drier and technical moments (maybe not all of the spouses... but certainly all of the sons and daughters ).
