Open House at 928 Motorsports on… Saturday 9/28 from Noon until 4 PM
Come help us celebrate our 20th year in business this 9/28! We are having an open house and all are invited.
The world's fastest Porsche 928, The Meg will be one display and just back from this years land speed race at the Bonneville Salt flats. I will also have a couple supercharged 928’s here, and there will be tours of our 106 year old repurposed schoolhouse that we call home, the parts department, the shop, everything. Special 20% off pricing on anything you take with you - no shipping charges too! .
There is no admission fee.
HERE IS THE SCHEDULE:
The PCA clubs of Milwaukee and Appleton will be here from 10:00 to Noon, and the Open House follows for the general public from Noon to 4:00 PM.
Carl and Myles will be available to answer questions about supercharging, racing, engine building, and about the Meg – whatever you want. The atmosphere will be open and friendly. There will be autographed copies of our Pikes Peak and our Bonneville 928 books available for purchase, and T-shirts and hats.
Come and visit, buy parts at 20% off, and get your picture taken in The Meg!
There are 36 PCA members that have already RSVP'd for lunch at our Open House, and we plan to have food for 60. The luncheon is being prepared for by Chef Austin Fausett who was asked to cook at the White House for President Obama twice (proud Dad here).
It's just an out doors picnic-style luncheon, but you know it will be good. Lunch is $10 per person and will be served from 11 to about 1. This is what Austin is making:
Roast Suckling Pig a la Caja China, Barbecue sauce and Mojo Verde
German Potato Salad
Baked beans
Peach and Tomato Panzanella
There is no cost to attend the Open House, only for the lunch if you want it. The Open House goes from 11:00 to 4:00 PM. The Meg will be on display in its Bonneville land speed livery and its a great photo opp to put your kid (or yourself) in the seat and get a pic or two. I will also have one of our recently supercharged customer cars on display. There will also be a Q&A period, a book signing, and a 928 trivia contest with a prize for the winner.
Carl - Does the 20% discount apply to your headers and X-pipe?
I said in my announcement: " Special 20% off pricing on anything you take with you" and I am sorry I do not keep headers in stock - we make them as needed when you order. I do have the Header-X pipe, though, so that discount would apply.
