Rear Fender Flares - 85 Euro
Hi Everyone -
It's been awhile since I posted and Im glad to be back.
I still have my 85 Euro Track Car and I am slowly in the process of working on the body and paint.
I'm going to be using a set of spacers to push the wheels out a bit and I'm currently looking for a set of rear fender flares. Before anyone mentions anything, I did a search and came up short.
Anything out there these days?
TIA
Drew

There are a couple of options.
1. Roll the fenders. If you go to far and end up with a duckbill look, well.... you get what you pay for
2. Find a set of Louie Ott's rear fiberglass fenders
3. Buy GTS quarterpanels
4. Pay someone to work the metal, however sometimes you get alot less than you pay for. Most end up looking butchered at best. If you are 20 feet away and the 1st thing you notice on the 928 are the rear fenders, you might have done it wrong.
2 &3 are your best bet for looks & not always the most expensive. On the surface they look expensive but after you go the 1st or 4th and are doing it a second time.... well its always better to do most things once.

What wheel-width/offset/tire combo are you aiming for?
If you do the above right you can get 315's in there with a slight lip roll.
With GTS-style flairs, my GT racecar can fit 18" x 11" x 60mm x 335's. On the street I run 315's.
