To all the friends here and there who make up our 928 community. Without the great support and inspiration I receive from the group, ownership would be really tough. So hats off to all who go through the trouble of advising, coaching, supporting, sharing, helping.

The car just this week saw its last road miles for the year, after an interesting fuel adventure. I usually do all the services except oil, then top up the fuel tank. Oil gets changed just before the move to the winter storage spot. This time, the very cold fuel got bigger in the warm garage, spilling a few ounces out of the tank vent/overflow onto the garage floor. I was "forced" to go drive the car again that evening, a fabulous fifty-mile moonlight cruise into the local mountains. Oil was swapped the next morning, and the car is now sitting in the storage spot waiting for some floor jack gymnastics to get it up onto stands for hibernation. On cue, it's been snowing since it was moved, so timing could not have been better.
