Default SOLD - Anyone need/want my new High Torque IMI Starter?

Update: SOLD!

I accidentally bough a 928 IMI 101-928 Starter for my 911 engine... don't ask how, I don't know, LOL.

Anyway... Its new. I had it bolted in and cranked it a couple times, noticed it was cranking the wrong direction, pulled it off and back into the box. It is perfectly brand new otherwise. $215 shipped in the lower 48 if anyone wants/needs it. Hit me up!

- Rich

3rd in line if either of the other 2 don't want it.

I think it's just like the one I already have installed.

Scott,

Thank you, and good for you. You'll love that starter if you don't have one already. Makes the car start with a completely different sound. Would have been a parts closes spare for me so glad someone who can use it got it.

I'm pretty happy with the top side too

What advantages does it have over the original?

Turns the engine over stronger and faster. Works better in higher compression motors too.

It also saves about 14 pounds of weight!
The stock starter is a boat anchor

I have one on my 914 too - they're great. The sound when that motor turns over is completely different than with any of the stock starters I used to use. I won't use anything else in the future.
