Does this swap work with an '86 or older? My left tail light socket just crumbled changing the bulb

Hey There.. did you happen to find a part for the single taillight bulbs?

NOTE if the tab rusts off the inside of the original socket ,
you can feed the wire through and solder it directly to the bottom of the bulb add some tension to the outer collar and the lamp should work.

Thanks for the reply. Actually did that already, just looking for a more permanent, easier to change option

I've actually drilled out the OEM taillight sockets and slid in one and two wire sockets you can get at your local auto parts store. I did a write up some where.
