Default S4 Throttle position sensor question

My throttle position sensor makes a click and changes state when the throttle is closed. It changes state at WOT but there is no click in fact nothing what so ever.
This is on the bench, not in my car. Should I feel/hear a click at WOT like at closed?

Thanks

There won't be a click for WOT, you are good.

The idle switch is a micro switch- it clicks. The WOT throttle contact is just a simple make or break contact- thus no 'click'.

I would check the resistance changes at the ECU plug, its only way to really know if its working or not in both positions.
